No Administration Costs
Our annual budget is -zero-. Foundation staff members are employees of Jordan School District, therefore, 100 percent of donations to the Foundation benefits children, teachers, and schools. All donations are tax-deductible.

A volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of top business and civic leaders, governs the Foundation. Board committees include Awards Banquet, Mini-grants for Teachers, and the annual Golf Classic. Click here for a complete list of committees.

Why We Seek Funding
Jordan Education Foundation seeks funding because Utah ranks last in the nation in the number of public dollars available to educate each student. More importantly, Jordan School District is the largest of Utah’s 40 districts with nearly 80,000 students, with projected growth of 24,000 additional students over the next decade. Jordan includes the rapidly growing cities of Draper, West Jordan, Sandy, South Jordan, Midvale, Riverton, Bluffdale, Herriman and Copperton. Therefore, building new schools takes a large share of the district’s tax revenue. In Utah, Jordan falls below average in dollars per student due to its smaller commercial tax base.

Fiscal Year
July 1 - June 30
