2020 Comcast Cares Information to be announced

A Day Like No Other

To Comcast employees in Utah and across the country, Comcast Cares Day is more than just a day – it’s the culmination of our commitment to volunteerism and making change happen in the communities where we live and work.

In 2018, Comcast worked with 14 Utah schools, including Hayden Peak & Foothills Elementary in Jordan School District as well as other community-based organizations to provide crews of eager volunteers and all the supplies necessary to complete projects ranging from landscaping and cleanup to painting and construction.  Volunteers will deep clean classrooms, re-organize the sport equipment shed, plant flowers and bushes, spread mulch and bark, add sparkle to the dull wood throughout the hallways and much more!

Volunteers will receive a FREE t-shirt, breakfast and lunch as a thank you for participating.

This is an event for the whole family -- from infant to 100 years old! :)

We will have service projects to fit a variety of experience levels to choose from including ADA accessibility and ADA friendly projects.

Both schools will receive a Comcast Foundation Grant based on the number of volunteers who register AND participate on Comcast Cares Day to make future improvements to the school and increase educational opportunities for the students.

Please bring the following supplies, if you should have them:

- Shovels

- work gloves

- Wheel barrows

And please dress in comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting dirty.
