Dear Friends of JEF,
We hope you and your loved ones are healthy and safe during these unsettling times. Each of you is an invaluable member of the Jordan Education Foundation (JEF) team.
It is thanks to you that we have a Principal Pantry in each of our schools, serving children and family in times of crisis. In addition, last year, JEF helped supply nearly $750,000 to teachers in the form of classroom grants. Our teachers, the unsung heroes of our communities, receive grants and recognition for being outstanding professionals thanks to your support. This past December, 450 high school and middle school students, accompanied by over 500 volunteers, received a Christmas shopping spree at Walmart thanks to caring members of the community. We are so grateful to businesses and individuals who care about kids!
Some have inquired how you can help make sure our programs, especially stocking the Principal Pantries, remain funded and viable.
Jordan Education Foundation, with your help, will remain adaptive, responsive and nimble to meet our students and teachers immediate needs. Because of you, we have worked to engage all communities for 34 years to ensure JEF can support teachers and students and we know that will continue.
We appreciate your inquiries. We are keeping our website current with updates and links to donate and/or assist www.jordaneducationfoundation.org.
Because of the pandemic, many of the events we depend on for funding are cancelled or will be rescheduled. JEF’s support of students and teachers will not waver. We implore each of you to make donations in any amount through our website. We assure you that any support you are able to offer at this time will go directly to the program you desire.
Thank you in advance for your help. Your generosity is Jordan Education Foundation’s greatest strength.
With gratitude,
JEF Board of Directors and Staff
