Classroom Grants

Classroom Grants are used to fund a teacher’s innovative and creative classroom projects that enrich standard curriculum and directly enhance learning opportunities for students in Jordan School District.

The Classroom Grants Program aims to:

Enhance Educational Quality:

By funding creative and impactful classroom projects, we strive to improve the quality of education that students receive.

Support Teacher Innovation:

Teachers often have brilliant ideas that can transform learning but lack the funds to bring these ideas to life. These grants empower teachers to implement their innovative concepts.

Foster Student Engagement:

We believe that engaging students in dynamic and interactive learning experiences is crucial for their academic success and personal development.

Reducing Teacher Out-of-Pocket Expenses:

These grants help reduce the financial burden on our dedicated teachers, allowing them to focus more on teaching and less on worrying about resources.

The availability of classroom grants is directly dependent on the generosity of donors. As our funding is limited to the contributions we receive, the number of grants awarded each year may vary. Qualified grants are awarded on a "first come" basis. Whenever possible, grants are submitted through DonorsChoose where matching funds are often available thereby reducing our cost and allowing more grants to be awarded.
