To Our Friends And Partners,
Jordan Education Foundation is pleased to send you this annual update from our mayors in Bluffdale, Herriman, Riverton, South Jordan, and West Jordan. This year, JEF was unable to host a 2020 Southwest Salt Lake County Economic Summit in person, as we have done in past years with guest speakers from the governor’s office, Zions Bank and the mayor’s panel.
However, we did not want this unique year to get away without doing something to highlight the events of cities throughout our district. We look forward to gathering again in the fall of 2021 for the 6th Annual Southwest Salt Lake County Economic Summit.
We are grateful to each of the city mayors in Jordan District for producing a short highlight of their city. The Jordan School District Communications Department compiled and produced this video along with a short message from Superintendent Anthony Godfrey and the Jordan Education Foundation. Therefore, we express our appreciation to Sandy Riesgraf, Doug Flagler and Chad Margetts in the JSD Communications Department. Please feel free to share this video link with others in your communities, businesses, chambers, departments, friends and families.
We hope you will keep the Jordan Education Foundation in mind as you, your businesses, your cities, your chambers, your departments, your church groups or your families are searching for avenues to help our children enhance educational experiences. Often times our students need us so they can come to school ready to learn, free from hunger or other challenges that might be an obstacle in fulfilling their promise of potential. Together we can assist our children, their education, and our collective future.
